At Perspectives: Skills for Life, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive. We provide teens and young adults with autism and other developmental differences a supportive environment where they can build essential social and life skills, develop independence, and gain confidence in themselves.
But Perspectives is more than the skills we teach. It’s a community built on understanding, acceptance, and meaningful connections—a place where every individual feels valued, discovers their potential, and knows they belong.

At Perspectives: Skills for Life, our work is guided by five core values:
Looking for assistance on payments, we qualify for most FSA and HSA and we collaborate with the Kentucky Center Pre-Employment Transition Services, for qualifying individuals
At Perspectives, we empower individuals with autism and other developmental differences. Our focus is on independence, vocational readiness, and real-world learning to help participants gain the confidence and tools needed to thrive in everyday life and future employment.
The PEERS® Program: This research-based social skills training program is designed to help individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities build meaningful friendships, improve social interactions, and navigate complex social situations.
Surviving and Thriving in the Real World (STRW) is an intervention that was developed for autistic teens that targets the development of age-appropriate daily living skills including hygiene and self-care, cleaning, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, and money management.
